His room was pretty hard to decorate. We live in an older house and his room in particular has a lot of different pitches. You'll be able to know what I mean when you see the pictures. I can't hang too many things on the wall because of those darn pitches. But I still LOVE the way everything turned out.
Also, I'm not talented with the camera AT ALL. So the lighting in some of these isn't too great...
See those pitches!!
This dresser was my old white dresser. It was the first project I started. I had to sand it all down, which took A LOT of work. Then I repainted it. It took 5 coats of paint to cover everything up!!!I am so happy with the way it turned out!
His closet is kind of small and you can't put doors on it because of, once again, those darn pitches. But, we made it still turn out great! P.S. I buy way more clothes for him now days than I do for myself... :)
This was the first craft I did after he was born. I knew I wanted to do something like this from the very beginning but we didn't know for sure what his name was going to be until he was born. I got the letters and scrapbook paper at Hobby Lobby.
I totally copied my friend, Rachel, on this project. It was too cute, I couldn't help myself :)
My mom made all his bedding. She did such a great job! We got the crib from Downeast-screaming deal! Mobile is from Buy Buy Baby
This lamp is probably my favorite purchase for Jenson's room. I got it at Hobby Lobby. I knew as soon as I saw it, I HAD to get it.
This is the cross stitch I made for Jenson. I got it as something to do for the last month I was pregnant. It gave me something to do when I didn't feel like moving. Haha :)
Well that pretty much sums it up. Cutest baby boy room EVER!
I LOVE his bedroom! That is so awesome!! Would you possibly consider posting a tutorial on how to make the ABC board?! If so, TIA. Love your blog!!
ReplyDeleteThank you SO much! I found a tutorial on Pinterest actually. It was super easy! Just search 'string letters' or 'string art.' Check this link out too... it gives you step by step. http://www.hellobee.com/2012/02/16/diy-string-art/ The hardest part is doing the math and figuring out the size of each letter to get them to fit perfectly. Hope this helps! :)
